My wife and I just moved to Scottsdale. We had no network of craftsmen or handymen. Recently, we were told that we have a problem with our indoor sprinkler system and we needed somebody to come to the house and assess our needs. Coincidentally, that same day, we were at a car wash and the van in front of us was from The Fireman Equipment Company. We wrote down the number and called it as soon as we got home. The lady on the line was very helpful, so we felt good about setting up an appointment. Two days later, the owner of the company came to our house and assessed what was going on. He was very nice, very thorough and, seemingly, very knowledgeable. Turns out, he was the owner of the company. We asked a lot of questions and found out he has owned the company for 31 years. That made us feel comfortable. Anybody in business that long has to be pretty good at what they do, right? Plus, the owner is still calling on customers and getting his hands dirty 31 years later. That told us something about his professionalism and his love for the job. Immediately, he gave us an estimate on the work that needed to be done and we gave the “okay” to do it. We would absolutely recommend that you talk to this company if you need any work done, too.
